WAY TO GO STEW!

My Son Stewart will be starting a new job on Monday, the 20th of April. The new job will be line producing for Gurney Productions. They do shows for Discovery. He has been producing shows for Actual Reality for a number of years, is very comfortable there and really hates to leave them. But, the possibility of soon heading up Gurney's Production Department is just too tempting to pass up. Stew, Heather and Chloe live in Los Angeles and are very happy there.

Stew has been in some area of the film industry since his graduation from Birmingham Southern with a BA in Theatre Set and Lighting Design. He moved to LA about 11 years ago and has worked so hard to get to where he is today. It didn't happen overnight! Every time he got knocked down by that "dog eat dog" industry he just got right back up and worked harder.

GURNEY IS SO LUCKY TO HAVE YOU!!!!!!

CHIP GETS GREAT NEWS!

My Son Chip received this email from Rogers Redding, Coordinator of Football Officials,Southeastern Conference

Dear Chip,

By this note I am extending an invitation for you to be added to the Supplemental List of football officials for the Southeastern Conference. As a Supplemental Official you will receive assignments as an Alternate Official, and possibly as an on-the-field official, consistent with our needs and your officiating commitments elsewhere.

We will be in touch with you later about the details of this appointment and the other information you will need.

The SEC Annual Officiating Clinic will be in Birmingham on July 23-25, 2009. Details will be forthcoming.

Chip has progressed from High official to Ohio Valley Football Conference Official and now SEC Official. This has long been a goal of his and we just can't wait to see him running up and down the field in that striped shirt.

CONGRATULATIONS CHIP! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU AND YOUR HARD WORK!

Ha Ha.......He is married to Lenda and they three wonderful children: Kathy, Jenny and Rhett III; Kathy has a beautiful daughter, Caroline; Jenny is married to Tom and they many puppy dogs; Rhett III is married to Beth and they have three adorable daughters; Marley, Maddie and Mae Ellen. Rhett and Lenda live in Huntsville where Rhett has his own insurance business. Lenda helps him out in the office and keeps everything running smoothly.

Chloe Time

I just got home from Los Angeles last night and I miss Chloe already.

The LA Zoo was great. We were lucky to have an in with a zoo employee and get free tickets. (Heather - Educational Curator).

Chloe takes such good care of the baby Gram brought her.

Mommy and Freddie love the baby too!

The Balboa Kid's Park is just so much fun!

Daddy rides Chloe around at the Aquarium. Want a neat place!

I had such a good time. Stew and Heather were great hosts.

Breakfast at Waffles and More (or was it More Than Waffles?).

Daddy is so funny!

Gram and Chloe eat ice cream

"Daddy, that's my hat"

The Outdoor Pool at The Aquarium was very inviting. Chloe touched the Rays and fishes.

They had a wonderful visit planned down to a "T".

And, Heather could give cooking lessons. Yum Yum.....

Wow! I'm exhausted! This tour guide stuff can really wear ya out!

Lucy Goes To Prom

Doesn't our Lucy look great? She is "all over/inside and out" beautiful. She is so special....A real joy to be around.....

GONE FISHING

Lenda and Glenda love to fish and Lenda may have been disappointed that her twin sister out fished her, but she was proud of Glenda's fishing skills.

Glenda and her husband Joe Ed Bragg.....Avid and very good fishermen
