Today is Beth's 50th birthday. Beth is my "cute as a button" step daughter. And, I love her dearly. Beth welcomes a well wisher Saturday night a wonderful birthday bash was held at her sister Ree's gorgeous High Forrest home in Tuscaloosa. Dick with his Beth and granddaughter Elizabeth Dick really enjoyed seeing his daughter have so much fun and he had a great time visiting with old friends. Dick jokes with Miriam Almon, Betty Fletcher, Virginia Owen and Betty Baumhauer while Beth and Betty look on. Betty Fletcher and Dick

On Friday we drove over to Atlanta for the first day of business at Lucy's Market. The name Lucy is very special. Kim and Richard's daughter Lucy Clare, Kim's grandmother Lucille and Richard's grandmother Lucille all share that great name. They have opened a fresh produce market on the very busy Roswell Road. Wonderful location. We had a so much fun helping out and brought home beautiful fruit and vegetables that we are really enjoying.
After getting all her "stuff" moved into her newly painted and decorated room our girl just had the overpowering urge to entertain. Wanna hear a drum solo? Bet ya think I can't handle this big drum set. Well you are wrong! How about the blues or some light rock? And, for my next number. I love that old time rock and roll! Who let the dogs out? Who...Who? Are you watching American Idol? Now let's slow it down with an old ballad. Wow! That was fun! Hope you enjoyed it too!
